This is the best gingerbread I have ever made. It is simple and I had all the ingredients with the exception of the molasses which I substituted some Pure and Simple honey. Omg! I could not stop eating it. I will be using this recipe as my go to Gingerbread. Loved, loved, love it.
Thank you Mason
Thank you so much for your kind words.. this truly made my day,, i’m thrilled to hear you loved the gingerbread and that the honey substitution worked so well for you.it’s always great when a recipe can be flexible and still turn out delicious and irresistible 😄
i’m honored that this will be your go to gingerbread recipe.. thank you for taking the time to share your experience, and happy baking <3
I’m going to make this today but I didn’t notice what sized pan to use? I may use a glass 9×9 if I have extra I’ll make a cupcake or two.
Thank you so much for trying my recipe.. a 9×9-inch pan will work perfectly for this gingerbread; Just fill it about 2/3 full, if you have a little extra batter, making a cupcake or two is a great idea.. start checking the cupcakes around 18–22 minutes and the 9×9 pan around 30–35 minutes.. until a toothpick comes out clean.
