  • 1 bundle Fresh spinach Look for vibrant green leaves.
  • 2 cloves Garlic, minced Adjust according to taste preference.
  • 1 tablespoon Sesame oil
  • 1 tablespoon Soy sauce Substitute with tamari for gluten-free.
  • 1/2 teaspoon Salt Adjust to taste.
  • 1 tablespoon Sesame seeds, optional Garnish as desired.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Blanch the fresh spinach in boiling water for 1-2 minutes until wilted.
  • Drain and rinse under cold water to stop the cooking process.
  • Squeeze out excess water and chop the spinach.

Mixing

  • In a mixing bowl, combine the chopped spinach, minced garlic, sesame oil, soy sauce, and salt.
  • Mix well and garnish with sesame seeds if desired.

Serving

  • Serve as a side dish or as part of a larger Korean meal.

Notes

Can be served warm or cold. Pairs well with rice, bulgogi, or grilled fish. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for 3-4 days. Reheat if desired.
